Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST) is an international non-government organization focused on capacity building. With HQ in the Philippines and presence across South and Southeast Asia, we seek to promote sustainable practices to address social problems in the developing world, with focus on Asia and Africa.

Established in 2003 with the simple aim of addressing sustainability challenges in the country, ASSIST has now evolved into a developmental organization with passion and purpose for progress and prosperity across the region. Under our Partner to Progress philosophy, we collaborate with other organizations to reach our goals.

Over the last 12 years, ASSIST has been primarily involved in providing capacity building and technical assistance at enterprise, professional and community levels across a variety of subject matter and markets. Besides our own internal projects, we have successfully implemented over 100+ projects in collaboration with bilateral and multilateral donors and organizations such as the ADB, UNEP, UNIDO, UNICEF, UNHCR, IFC, DEG, GIZ and the EU across 20 countries through our ‘Partner to Progress’ philosophy, and are highly familiar with the processes and expectations associated with donor-funded projects.

ASSIST Fundraising Services is the NGO fundraising arm of both UNICEF and UNHCR. The advocacies of both UN agencies support the cause of the children and displaced families here in the Philippines, respectively.
