DOHA CABLES has started production activities way back in year 2009 and was formally inaugurated in the presence of His Excellency Former Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah on 25th May 2010.

DOHA CABLES operates with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility having a huge production capacity of 52,000 tons of copper per annum. Factory has been spread in a total area of 70,200 m², located in the heart of Mesaieed Industrial City. DOHA CABLES has been equipped to produce wide range of various types of cables including High voltage and extra High voltage cables up to 220kV. 

Today, DOHA CABLES has adequate testing facilities to carry out all types of tests as per requirement of world’s leading international standards. This ensures total compliance of each and every meter of cable, to international norms.

DOHA CABLES is proud to be the only manufacturer in the GCC to test cables as per NFPA which is the most severe and stringent standards in Fire Rated Cables category.

All machines are chosen from world’s top class manufacturers, in respective area. This ensures high quality of cable in very efficient manner. Selection of such kind of machines also help to do more in less time by controlling processes with high level of automation.

DOHA CABLES is poised to export it’s products to various countries meeting requirements of respective International Standards. Doha Cables have acquire accreditation from IEC, BS, NEMA, VDE, CENELEC , LPCB and BASEC.

Doha Cables has been playing an active role in manufacturing and supplying all four major metro lines of Qatar Rail packages (Red Line, Green Line, Gold Line and LRT) and has been awarded the supply of the Major Systems Package too.
